We are located approximately 100 km SE of Dauphin or 120 km North of Portage La Prairie. Drive time from Winnipeg is approximately 2 hours.
From the junction of highway #16 & highway #50, proceed north to the town of Amaranth. Once you reach the town of Amaranth, proceed north on highway #50 approximately 5 miles to mile 113N, proceed east, on a good gravel road, for 2 ½ miles to mile 54W, proceed north for 2 miles, then east to the end of the road. Beckville Beach starts on the right side. Signs should be visible as well.
Area Attractions
Love to fish? Beckville Beach and the surrounding area are known as a Master Angler’s paradise where Perch, Pickeral, and Northern Pike are in abundance. A public boat launch at the North end of the development is available for those water enthusiasts who want to get out onto the lake.
Golfing? There are two nine hole golf courses located a short drive away at either McCreary or Gladstone.
Hiking Trails are close by at Bluff Creek Nature trails. These hiking trails are both unique and enjoyable trails for all levels of hiking enthusiasts. Portia Marsh, a Ducks Unlimited interpretive center featuring boardwalks, a lookout platform and a picnic area is just a short drive away.
What about Snowmobiling? During the Winter months the area around Beckville Beach becomes a snowmobilers haven – an abundance of groomed trails run through the area.
The Alex Robertson Museum in Alonsa contains a large collection of antique firearms and pioneer artifacts for those interested in history.
